Testimonials
Our primary goal at The High Orchard Charitable Foundation is to serve and support nonprofits through grant funding. We understand the challenges and struggles that come with running a charitable organization, and we are dedicated to providing assistance to those who are making a positive impact in their communities.
Equine Healing Collaborative
With a grant from High Orchard, Equine Healing Collaborative expanded its trauma-informed equine therapy sessions for youth and veterans in Monterey County. The funding helped cover stable maintenance, therapeutic staff training, and outreach to underserved communities. One participant, a teen navigating grief and anxiety, shared: "The horses don't judge. They just listen. I found peace here." The program now serves over 150 individuals annually, offering healing through connection, movement, and trust.

Youth Ambassadors of Pacific Grove
With support from High Orchard, the Youth Ambassadors launched a civic engagement series focused on local leadership, sustainability, and mental health advocacy. The grant funded workshops, speaker panels, and youth-led volunteer outreach, including the town's Fourth of July Celebration. "We're not just the future—we're the present," said one ambassador. Their work proves that when youth lead, communities listen.

Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP)
With support from The High Orchard Charitable Foundation, AFRP expanded its pet adoption outreach across Monterey County, focusing on connecting rescued animals with loving families. The grant helped fund care, adoption events, transportation for shelter transfers, and promotional campaigns that highlighted the unique stories of each animal.
In just one year, AFRP facilitated over 300 adoptions, each one a story of second chances and new beginnings. Their work continues to prove that every animal deserves a safe, loving home—and every home is brighter with a rescued friend.

The Wahine Project
High Orchard's funding helped The Wahine Project expand its surf and ocean education programs to girls from disadvantaged families across Monterey Bay. The grant supported scholarships, transportation, and bilingual instructors. For many participants, it was their first time experiencing the ocean not as a barrier, but as a source of strength. "I feel brave now," said one 11-year-old after catching her first wave. The Wahine Project continues to build confidence, community, and environmental awareness—one surfboard at a time.
